Hey everyone, long time no see! I hope you are enjoying the (not so) summery weather here in Blighty at the moment and are in the mood to *que Bridesmaids reference* partaayyyyyyy!
Today I have a very exciting post for you all, which comes in the form of a summer party that my best friend (*waves* Hey, Krystal!) and I attended last weekend on Sunday. Although the weather wasn’t exactly what you’d call summery, the party was booming, the drinks were flowing and the people were dancing late into the evening.
The party was held at the fabulous Cuban themed Gabeto Bar in Camden and was organised by the wonderful vintage reproduction clothing company Collectif. Krystal and I had actually already attended their 18th Birthday party at Fest Camden way back in November 2018 (which was equally as brilliant- we got a free dress with the ticket!) so we were so excited to have the chance to attend another.
There were vintage musical acts and bands, Burlesque dancers and even a catwalk! (that we couldn’t actually see because the venue was so small that is was literally impossible for anyone, especially anyone our height, to be able to get a sneaky peak of the new collections 🙁 )
Now onto the main event, the outfitsssssss! Since this party was vintage themed (obviously) we had to suitably dress up- I opted for a Collectif top and polka-dot skirt combo and Krystal a beautiful yellow 90s style dress.
(P.S Sorry for the lack of pictures… but the last thing you want to be doing at a party is snapping pics in peoples faces lol so I hope you enjoy the few I did get <3)
