Breakfast at Tiffany’s: Afternoon Tea at the Tiffany Blue Box Café

Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well in these somewhat.. uncertain times.

Today’s blog is hopefully a chic and aesthetically pleasing post about my first trip back to London since March. That’s right you heard me, March (thanks COVID) and my birthday Afternoon Tea at the gorgeous Tiffany Blue Box Café in Harrods.

My best friend and I had actually planned a trip (pre-COVID of course) to the café, however, the world changed pretty quickly and travelling around and going on adventures took a back step whilst we all tried to quarantine, and stay safe. However, as the restrictions began to lift, and things seemed to be getting a little better, we decided to once again plan our trip and went as a joint birthday trip!

The café is located in the lower ground floor of Harrods, hence why the photos may appear quite dark (I think.. the store is so big its hard to ever know where you are) and is one of the most gorgeous places I think we have ever had tea! Head-to-toe dripping in Tiffany blue finesse, the café pays homage to the company’s flagship store in NYC with beautiful portraits of the store and of course, Audrey in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Always a winner!

Now…the afternoon tea. The afternoon tea visually, was stunning, with notes of Tiffany Blue, and trademarks subtly incorporated into the treats which made it one of our top teas, aesthetically. For £69 pp, I would say the afternoon tea is somewhat over priced for what it actually is however, you can ask for a doggy bag at the end and the staff package up fresh treats for you to take home to enjoy.

For the life of me, I couldn’t tell you what the food actually was (awful memory you see haha!) so, you will just have to view the pictures which I hope you enjoy seeing.
